Lights On Photography is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to support our post-production team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to work on wedding films, cinematic videos, Instagram reels, and promotional content while developing professional editing skills.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of video editing software, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for visual storytelling. You will collaborate with photographers, videographers, and the creative team to transform raw footage into compelling content that reflects our brand's quality and creativity.
Assist in editing wedding films, highlight videos, reels, and promotional content.
Organize and manage video footage and project files.
Create engaging short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Add music, transitions, titles, and basic motion graphics.
Perform basic color correction and audio synchronization.
Collaborate with the creative team to meet project deadlines.
Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all video projects.
Stay updated with current social media and video editing trends
Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Media, Design, Film, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
Familiarity with Adobe After Effects is a plus.
Understanding of video editing fundamentals, transitions, pacing, and storytelling.
Knowledge of social media content formats and trends.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Portfolio or sample edits (academic or personal projects) preferred
