Agreement to these terms
By placing an order or booking through the Lights On Photography quote generator, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not place or confirm the order.
Your order document or booking quotation may contain project-specific terms. Where a timeline, deliverable or charge is stated there, refer to that document for the details of your booking.
Delivery terms
- The editing and delivery process begins only after 100% of the payment has been cleared.
- If a customer cannot provide an update on selections, they must inform the Lights On Photography team by email or WhatsApp to place delivery on hold for a specified period of no more than two months.
- The wedding delivery timeline is generally two to four months. It depends on the number of event days, the time taken to select songs and photos, change-request iterations and the specific project schedule.
- If photo and music selections are delayed by more than one month, the delivery timeline will be affected.
- If the client delays photo and music selections by more than four months for any reason, Lights On Photography will close the project, send the unedited RAW data to the customer and discontinue the service.
- Album design and editing of traditional full-length coverage videos begin after the client completes the album photo selection.
- If a customer does not respond to calls, emails or WhatsApp group messages from Lights On Photography for more than one month, the service will be discontinued.
- RAW data is delivered on a hard drive or SSD only after the total payment has been cleared.
- Soft-copy and RAW-data download links are available for a limited period. Downloading the files to a computer before the link expires is recommended.
- Albums, USB pen drives, hard drives and SSDs are sent using the customer’s preferred logistics provider. The customer must pay the delivery charges.
Indicative delivery timelines
Timelines may vary according to the project schedule stated in the order document.
- Highlight and candid videos: two to three weeks after song or music selection.
- Full videos: six to ten weeks after song or music selection.
- Albums: six to ten weeks after photo selection.
Editing terms
- We aim to produce natural skin tones from digital-camera files during editing.
- We do not encourage morphing images by adding or removing people.
- Birthmarks and natural facial marks are not removed or morphed in photo or video editing.
- Skin texture is retouched for the photos printed in the album.
- Photos shared through Google Photos or other online links may be lower-resolution versions optimised for mobile devices and online viewing. High-resolution files may load slowly and result in a poor viewing experience.
- Only photos selected for albums are edited. All RAW footage and photos cannot be edited.
- One change-request iteration is included. Additional iterations are charged hourly.
- Invitation videos outside our available library cannot be delivered.
- We use Adobe products for photo and video processing and Canva for digital invitations.
- The review period for deliverables such as albums and videos is two weeks. A further delay may return the project to a longer queue or result in the project being discontinued.
Music change charges
If the customer or Lights On Photography team finalises the playlist before editing, more than one song or music change request is chargeable.
- Candid video: ₹6,000
- Full video: ₹8,000 when more than two songs or music tracks are changed

Booking & payment terms
- 100% of the package payment must be cleared on or before the shoot.
- If payment is delayed for more than one week from the main event date, delivery timelines will be affected.
- Timely payments help us deliver the service on schedule.
- We cannot guarantee a booking or service delivery unless we receive an original formal wedding invitation card.
Booking amounts
- Wedding: ₹30,000
- Birthday: ₹10,000
- Other events: subject to quotation
Event cancellation and booking amount
- Cancellation at least one month before the event: 100% of the booking amount will be refunded only when no service, planning, production, editing or other work has started and no service or deliverable has been provided.
- Cancellation more than two weeks but less than one month before the event: Lights On Photography will retain 50% of the booking amount and refund the remaining 50%.
- Cancellation within two weeks of the event: Lights On Photography will retain 100% of the booking amount, and no part of the booking amount will be refunded.
Offer terms
The following conditions apply to the 5% booking discount offer:
- Minimum order value: The package order value must be at least ₹2,00,000 (₹2 lakh) to qualify for the 5% discount.
- Maximum discount: The total discount available under any offer cannot exceed ₹20,000.
- Minimum final package price: If applying the calculated discount would reduce the package price below ₹2,00,000, the final payable package price will be capped at a minimum of ₹2,00,000.
- Five-day booking window: The 5% discount applies only when the customer books the package before the quotation expires. A quotation is valid for five days from its issue date, so the booking must be completed within that five-day validity period to receive the offer.
Shooting terms
- The duration and output quality of highlight or cinematic videos depend on the customer’s availability during the shoot.
- Traditional videos cover the celebration, shoot and rituals that take place during the event. They do not include candid or cinematic video coverage.
- An additional six-hour photo session costs ₹12,000 per photographer. This price may change depending on the requirement.
- Pre-wedding and post-wedding shoot validity: A pre-wedding shoot must be completed within the two months before the wedding or main event date. A post-wedding shoot must be completed within the two months after the wedding or main event date.
- Client availability: The client is responsible for being available and scheduling the shoot within the applicable two-month period. If the client is unavailable during that period, Lights On Photography cannot conduct or reschedule the shoot beyond the validity deadline.
- No refund or service adjustment: Except where a refund is expressly permitted under the event-cancellation or data-loss terms on this page, payments made for any booked service or deliverable are non-refundable and cannot be credited, compensated, transferred or adjusted against another service or deliverable. The customer must therefore provide complete, accurate and final requirements, information and inputs before confirming the booking. If a pre-wedding or post-wedding shoot is not completed within its validity period because the client is unavailable, the amount allocated to that shoot is also non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against another service or deliverable.
- The customer must arrange the lighting setup for outdoor or night-time Haldi and Sangeeth shoots.
- Unless expressly included in the order PDF or booking, short videos and social-media reels are complimentary and optional, not a priority deliverable. We shoot, edit and publish them only when time permits during the shoot.
- The customer must pay travel and accommodation costs for at least four crew members for pre-wedding and post-wedding shoots.
Data privacy & security
- We value the protection, privacy and security of your data and use multiple levels of privacy and security measures to protect it.
- You are the owner of your data.
- Deliverable data is provided through Google Drive, a USB pen drive or a hard drive, depending on the package and the order PDF or booking.
- After the booking is confirmed, the customer must provide a 2 TB hard drive or SSD. It is used as a second copy or backup of the data and returned two weeks after the main event.
- Payment and backup-disk requirement: If payment is not cleared within the agreed payment timeframe, or if the required customer-provided hard drive or SSD is not received on or before the event date, Lights On Photography will have only one copy of the event data stored on its on-premises server. In this situation, the continued preservation, recovery and protection of the data against loss cannot be guaranteed, and Lights On Photography will not be responsible for data loss resulting from the absence of the required second backup copy.
- We are not responsible for data loss when the project is delayed by the customer for more than five months. Retaining large volumes of data carries a risk of electronic failure.
- If all data is lost during the shoot before a backup, customer copy or second copy is created, we will provide a full refund of the order amount.
- If part of the data is lost, the amount relating to that specific event or schedule will be refunded.
- We accept only in-warranty Seagate hard drives or SSDs with Data Recovery Services. This provides an additional level of data protection.
- RAW data may be provided when it is included in the service package.
- We maintain two copies of RAW data when the customer provides the required backup drive: one copy with the customer and one with Lights On Photography.
- We are not responsible for the data after delivery.
- We obtain the customer’s consent before sharing their media on social-media platforms.
Camera equipment safety & security
- The safety of our equipment is a priority.
- If an attendee, guest or another crew member at the event intentionally or accidentally damages or steals our equipment, the customer is responsible for the repair or replacement cost.
- The cost may be divided between the customer, Lights On Photography and other parties only when cost sharing is agreed following an investigation of the issue.
Team & mutual respect
- The client must provide suitable lodging for the crew when required by the event schedule. Lodging must include proper bedding, bathroom facilities and electrical outlets so the team can prepare and begin shooting on time.
- Your event will be covered by the Lights On Photography team or, at times, affiliated vendors and freelancers working to our standards and style under the direction of the core team.
- Traditional photographers and videographers may be local vendors associated with Lights On Photography for traditional event coverage.
- Everyone at the event will be treated with equal professional courtesy. To encourage respectful communication and prevent misunderstandings, our crew will address guests and staff using formal terms such as Sir or Madam.
Intellectual property & trademarks
- Some proprietary album designs used in albums or videos are not included as separately shareable or deliverable design files.
- Please refer to the quotation or invoice for the complete list of deliverables included in your booking.
